A Story Worth Bringing Back - Why Project: WOLF Exists
BOSTON, MA - Arena football has already shown that it belongs in video games. Kurt Warner's Arena Football Unleashed brought its take on the sport to PlayStation in 2000, followed by EA SPORTS' Arena Football in 2006 and Arena Football: Road to Glory in 2007. Those releases gave fans an opportunity to take their favorite teams onto the virtual field and introduced other players to a different kind of football: tight spaces, fast possessions, and an arena atmosphere that brought spectators close to the action. Nearly two decades after those EA releases, they remain memorable chapters in a video game history that has received relatively few entries.

"Project: WOLF began with a desire to give that experience a new chapter. After nearly six years working in professional indoor football, including serving as a Chief Marketing Officer, I have seen the athleticism, creativity, and dedication that make this sport worth celebrating. I have also seen how much happens beyond the scoreboard: the work of coaches and staff, the energy of dancers and gameday crews, and the relationships between teams and their communities. Those experiences shape the vision for why Project: WOLF exists, an independently developed game that aims to capture both the action on the field and the effort behind building an indoor football organization." - Adrian "Lobo" Figueroa
Currently being developed by one person in spare time using Unreal Engine 5, Project: WOLF is still an early work in progress. The long-term ambition includes authentic indoor & arena football gameplay, meaningful team management, and an arena atmosphere that reflects that sport's personality. Reaching that vision will take time, testing, and feedback from people who know and love the game. Through development updates, behind-the-scenes looks, and conversations with professional athletes and fans, this website will document that process and give arena & indoor football communities a place to help shape what comes next.
